well, there is all kinds of things that can happen. shims might break, or even valves and create a ton of trouble.

i was going to post a thread about valves. im getting ready to do my valves on my 2016 750. my bike is not rattling...but it has 21k miles already and i know it is time. will be doing the spark plugs at the same time.

does any body have any recommendations on what brand of spark plugs are better for the suzuki. thinking on gettime the same ones. bike runs good.

typically they rattle when loose and when they are tight it's a funky exhaust note as maybe not closing all the way, have them checked if they haven't been or are in question..

not too complicated to check, a lil more involved to actually replace shims for adjusting, easily doable with tank off so forth, the valve hold tool is nice to have tho.. a little math and its on, service manual walks you through it, worth doing to know where you are here.. then a throttle body sync..

is it good to reuse the valve cover gasket when valve job is done. i purchased a gasket...or sort of say, few gaskets.

your input is greatly apreciated. if you can, please post a picture of the diagram of the gaskets. i went to suzukiparts warehouse to purchase my gaskets. but i just want to make sure. 2016 gsxr 750. thank you teams.

Sve manual says:

NGK Standard CR9E

I installed (4) of those and added a K&N air filter and the bike runs/fires up flawlessly,

Start by checking them first. Make sure you have the right tools (feeler gauges), and just follow the procedure. Come back when you have your measurements. Exhaust leaks around the head/header interface can sound like ticks too.
