My valves are within specification range as stated in the manual.

Two questions:
1) is it a good idea to set all Exhaust and Intake to the same setting? If so what is best
? all exhaust .010 and all Intake to .006?

2) if not set them all, would it be optimal to at least have each pair set the same?

exhaust range for my K7 are: .007-.011
Intake range for K7 are: .003-.007

2006 gsxr-600 with 40k miles. I've read set them looser. if you know the best place within the range would be helpful.

Thanks in advance for any input

Do what the service manual suggests. I would set them to the greater side of the ranges given only because I wouldn't have to worry about wear resulting in tight valves for some time.. Too loose will result in more noise and loss of performance.

If you're a racer and don't mind checking valve lash more often you might go to the lesser side of given ranges.

Then again, I'm no expert. What I do know is a burnt valve or seat is expensive.
