OK, many know what is going on, but I thought I would post this for those who do not. I coordinated a group buy with rumbleimports for their undertails and huggers. I will paste pricing on the bottom of this page, but basically we get:
25% off for 4-9 people
30% off for 10+ (BUT you will have to wait to have your order shipped when 10+ people officially sign up).
Shipping is $25 per item IF you want it quick. They are in Canada, so if you want ground shipping (12-15 days) it will be a bit cheaper. I will update with that price when I get a response back.
Check out the lips on www.rumbleimport.com
Also, email rumbleimport and post here saying you are in the group buy. Rumbleimport will handle all purchasing of this; I just set up the discount for us.

Here is the info I have thus far:
Regular detail price:

Undertail..........................................199.99$usd...-25% = 149.00$usd
Paintjob colormatch (if needed)............75.00$usd...-25% = 56.25$usd

You can choose clear lens or red lens, with both we provide regular bulbs.
If you want ,you can add 15.00$usd (-25% = 11.25$usd) and get the led's
instead of the regular bulbs.(we recommand led's only for the clear ones)

Shipping charge anywhere in USA(except Hawaii & Alaska)....25.00$usd
Insurance..............................................................................5.00$usd

***On shipping we are not able to give discount because its our cost.

the huggers are made also in ABS plastic, they come unpainted gloss black.

Detail price ................... 139.99$usd -25% = 104.99$usd

Paint job color match........75.00$usd -25% = 56.25$usd

Shipping is 25.00$usd anywhere in USA except Hawaii & Alaska , the part is smaller but we are charged in cubic inches.

Here is rumbleimports email address:
[email protected]
All emails should state that you are in the gixxer.com group buy.
Their phone number is 888-640-7736.

Finally, here is a link to the prior conversation:
http://www.gixxer.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=7&t=003326&p=

We will keep the group buy going for the rest of the month. Based on popularity, rumbleimport said they would be willing to extend that time frame.

I will get the clarification from rumble on Monday. I do not want to handle the money situation, so I will tell them to just accept the orders under this group buy. Hopefully they will not have a problem with that. I severly doubt they want a middle man holding onto the money.
What may happen is that you will need to email me with what you want and I send it over to rumble.
Again, sorry I don't have it perfectly worked out on the actual process, but I am just trying to get us the deal. The process will be clarified tomorrow. My hope is to have them shipping them tomorrow or the day after as well. I do not want to wait for this, and I know you guys don't either. I think they just have to know we have at least 4 people in, which should be the case as long as the ones who are *positive* they want one don't change their mind.

PS SRADical, you are more than welcome. I am glad we can all get a good deal on a pretty sweet undertail (and/or hugger if one gets it
)

Here are light options:

For the taillight, you can go red or clear.
Clear is on backorder and will take an extra 2 weeks to get. LED is an extra cost and they only reccommend doing it in clear.
The turnsignals can be clear or amber. They are LED standard.

Payment is handled through THEM. Call them or email them saying you are a Gixxer.com member and they will take care of it from there. You should also send an email to me, so I can relay your email address to them, and verify everything.

They ship airborne express, which takes 3-4 days typically. The other option is ground, which is only around $5 less.

Let me know if you have any other questions. Otherwise, start ordering them up! I just did mine (black undertail with red tails and clear turns. )

The guy called me this morning and i'm all set.

Came to a little over $180 American (they're located in Canada). I got the clear brake lights and turn signals both w/ leds. Ground shipping is $20 (which is extremly expensive) and air is $5 more. I opted for the cheaper shipping (since I'm not riding in the winter). I also declined the $5 shipping insurance, which I think is also extremly inflated. Canadian's really trying to pinch every penny I got.

I asked the guy if it came w/ instructions, but sadly it does not. He also said to hook up the lighting I'd have to either get an adapter or spice the cables, which kinda sux that it doesn't come with an adapter or any instructions. But you get what you pay for and for $180 w/ leds there's no one that can come close to that bargan.

He also said that he's expecting a small shipment of clear brake len's in Thursday, so hopefully I won't have to wait an extra 2 weeks for them to have the necessary parts until they ship it.

I'll post some pics when it arives.

Gunslinger is the man when it comes to this undertail (look at his bike,
http://userweb.suscom.net/~jwilliman/ ) . He is a very helpful guy, and if need be a couple PM's to him will get you through I'm sure. I'm pretty sure EmEsEk2 (or whatever his SN is)from Clearwater,FL has installed it as well. Now GUNSLINGER had to the best of my recollection posted DETAILED PICTURES of his installation on his second posting of this thread @ http://www.gixxer.com/forums/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=7;t=003192 , but then all of a sudden the pics disappeared. That seems to happen a lot here. Pics are up, and then pics are gone. WHAT UP ADMIN???

The first person to install it should try to post instructions. The LED turnsignals were really bright in the picture I saw, so I would suppose that is not going to be an issue. I also did not see an option for adapters for the wires.
We are currently at 25% off. We have a half dozen people involved at this time. You can ask rumbleimport if they will just credit the difference once 10+ people have joined. I honestly do not know how they are to handle it.
I agree. I think the shipping sucks big time, but they are using Airborne Express so what can you expect. At least it should get to us pretty quickly.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Not sure about the adapters, you may be able to find something at your local bike or auto parts shop, but I think thats unlikely. I say just splice the wires get some wire caps and wrap it in electrical tape so it won't lossen easily.

He said the LEDs are a lot brighter, give off a lot less heat, and last a lot longer than conventional bulbs.

The really great thing about the LEDs is that the ones for the brakes are red and the ones for the turn signals are amber. It should look badass w/ the clear lenses.
