I bought the bike with a two bros slip on. It's so f-ing loud! It has a great sound to it, but it's just way to loud imo, and illegal. I am thinking of getting rid of it, but not sure what would be more suitable. I like the M4 sound, but would it be just as loud? Any concerns with buying second hand exhausts?

There appears to be a metal baffle in it as well, but it's not baffling much. Maybe looking into a db killer or something would be a good idea?

Apparently with the K7, the slip on deletes the cat.

I have had zero issues buying used exhaust systems just make sure you get good pics of what you’re buying.

The M4 isn’t nearly as loud bc it comes with a small (muffler like)canister that sits under the bike. Some of the Yosh exhausts come with little canisters as well I’ve noticed.

I had Scorpion slip on for my 07 750 and it looked and sounded great!

Also any exhaust from 06-10 will mount right up. I would definitely sell that TwoBros on eBay after you get another one. People
Love them it seems.

Sorry, dumb question, but is this slip on a full piece as shown in the images, up until that first bracket or whatever?

That is not a dumb question at all man, this is how you learn about these things. To answer in a word, yes that is a slip on. The full exhaust would include a new set of headers. I’d look for one that is a little longer like the one that i have on my bike in that pic, or one that uses a little underbelly canister to deaden sound.

Almost anything😆

No, because unlike the K6/7, the '08s and beyond had the cat welded to the headers, so the only thing that would be changed was the end muffler
So, if you want a K8+ slipon on a K6/7, you're gonna need a separate linkpipe

Yes, M4 with baffle is quieter than the 2 Bros. I agree go for the used slip-on can; super easy to install.
