Oh yeah!
I saw your bike earlier in another thread here... It's just deadly!

It sure would be great to hear that bike do its thing. Maybe the next time you run on the flats you can get some video. I'd just like to hear what two 1255's sound like in tandem :biggrin

Welcome aboard!

An astonishing machine. See what you mean about that idler wheel design, it looks optimistic. Also the split-link in that chain :)
Yeah, I was thinking about that this morning..... I would have thought a gear driven setup immersed in gear oil would be a better solution.

Thanks for the update Scott.
That's definitely a cool ride!

I almost went to Dubai. A friend of mine was over there and I had an open invitation to stay any time. All I had to do was get there. Unfortunately her contract ended and with it my chance to hang in the Emirates for free.

Cheers,
Andrew

Scott,

The paint job and graphics are growing one me... From the side-view I almost want to see more of that blue on the front with a 'tip' to the 1st & 2nd gen bikes but... Head on that thing looks amazing.

When you go down, you'll have to let us know so that hopefully some of us can get there and support your efforts :cheers

@Carter Turk: That's a cool Duc.

If I didn't know better, I'd think your painter was the same guy who's doing my stuff. Massively talented and has a thing for bikes.

I think you're right about the RCAF roundels... If you put those on, maybe with a slight warp so make it look like the speed has stretched them slightly oval, or not, it would complete the vintage airplane vibe perfectly.

Good luck next run Scott. The bike looks awesome this year and once you get the bugs worked out and some good conditions, she's going to fly. Glad to hear you came back in one piece and look forward to hearing more in October.

Holy crap Scott. That bike has really transformed since you started this thread.

Are the throttle position sensors and O2 sensors there to allow you to dial it in at different altitudes and temperatures?

Scott, the double is looking awesome! What a beautiful sight it is to see. I'm glad to see that you've got another shot at Speed Week this year! I'll be keeping an eye out for an update.

I've got a group of buddies who usually do a 4 or 5 day trip through the Kootenays and over to AB every year. I take my 85 GSXR. What's a few thousand KM's on a sport bike, lol. I was hoping to see the bikes at the museum on one of our next trips but last year was a wash because of health problems and this year is a wash because of Covid. Hopefully next year.

Take it easy.
