Have a Gsx14 turbo ,been told it has a k6 1000 front end but has gold calipers ,need to fit new seals etc .
Any easy way of discerning what it is .
Any input greatly appreciated.

After rereading im guessing you need seals for the forks rather than the calipers.

As far as I know the gixxer 1k forks all use the same 43x55x9.5/10.5 (mm) fork seals from 2001 up to 2008.

The radial calipers all use the same 108mm spacing so they are interchangable between model years and even other Japanese brands, only the Euro bikes use 100mm spacing (Ducati, Aprilia, Bmw, Triumph).

The calipers look like theyre off a 03/04 1000. Do they use 2 big brake pads per caliper or 4 smaller ones?

They have two smaller pads in each caliper.
