Yup, +1 on checking the frame and front end first.

Can you post pics?

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. But because I'm not really experienced I really can't eye ball and tell. But let's say the frame is off then what. Like what the price on that and of the frame isn't off whats the pricing you think
That's a money pit... You'd be better off financially to get a turn key in good condition.

May I ask what you mean by not experienced? Are you looking for your first bike?

My second bike. I had a sv650 but when I rode it never had any issues with it. I rode for almost 6 months. I left it in Florida with my ex to visit my mom's cuz she was sick and end up staying back in my hometown
Nice! I've been wanting one of the newer ones :biggrin

Still, you'd be better off saving up the money while you enjoy more time on the 650.

I'd say get another 650, a 250r cbr, or a 300 ninja and give that AT LEAST a full riding season them worry about stepping it up. That wrecked gsxr IS gunna be a money pit. Take half of what you Would spend and buy a smaller and NICER bike and while you orient yourself to sportbikes, save up for that gsxr.

See that's the thing, I don't have the 650. Me and my girl broke up and because my mind got sick I didn't have the money to go down the and get my bike and now I don't know where my ex is at
You can always report it stolen, if the title is in your name.

Those pics look like an auction bike(ID# taped onto the top of the gas tank),which your friend may have bought back from the insurance company after they totaled it?

That won't buff out

.
I noticed that earlier, but it's hard to tell(for me anyways)if it's part of the wire harness or if it really is a cracked weld. I would think his friend would have saw a huge cracked weld and immediately realized the bike is destroyed beyond repair?
Or...is this another elaborate scammer such as that mark dude from Pakistan the other day and were gonna get smashed with links anytime now:lol
