TRE Won\'t work

I made a switchable TRE mod (from bugman's site) but it doesn't seem to work.
I used a 6.8Kohm resistance, and connected to the B/W and solid Pink wires coming out from the ECU. I used a ohmeter to check if everything was ok, about 600 ohms when the bike is in first gear, I switch the tre on and it comes to 6.8Kohms. But when I test it out by pulling the clutch the revs don't change. Nothing seems to be changed. Also when riding in first gear the bike isn't supposed to have engine braking but mine still does. Anyone know what's going on???

Don't you need more resistance for the 1000?

I have a 600 and well I tend to think the same thing, so not sure I did something wrong either.

On Bugmans site he said to use a 6.8Kohm resistance so as to remove the top speed limiter. But I will try a 15Kohm resistance this week-end. Hope this works.
