Hey guys, I just put my carbon fiber Micron pipe on and im guessing because of the pipe change its running a tad bit leaner than before which is causing the choppy idle. It clears up after a little while but its intermittent and I know i should get the PC soon. My question is .. with it running as lean as it is.. is it safe to put my TRE in or will I be adding fuel to the fire (for lack of better terms)

yes, you can run a tre. but don't expect to feel a huge difference. i'm guessing you live up north (loc: CT) so you might want a switched version for starting up in the cold. you can get them off this site. you don'y really "need" a pwr cmdr. i have one just because hooking up a laptop to my bike makes my nipples hard. but thats just me. the bike always has a choppy idle unless you turn up the idle speed. the cams just aren't tuned for idle rpm.
