As some of you may know, I have been having issues with my bike. I had a noise coming from the front sprocket. I took the chain and sprocket off just to see if that was the issue. Well, the problem is with the transmission. So, this is what is going on. In every gear except nuetral there is a real loud popping/clunking sound coming from my transmission. When you accelerate the noise gets louder and faster. The tranmission doesn't jump out of gear, nor does it slip. It still pulls hard in every gear, tho I won't be riding it till I fix it. So I need some help. What is wrong? Does anybody know where I can get a good tranmission for a 01 750. Can someone please help, I want to RIDE!!!!!!

Maybe a blown clutch basket, I would open the clutch cover and inspect in there and that couldd tell you if anythings wrong.

I think I have already replied to you once, but I think it sounds like a broken tooth off a gear. Just a guess, but I would say the gear thats made on the main shaft.
