TrackTactics Trackdays returns to Pittsburgh International Race Complex

Tracktactics Trackdays is pleased to announce that we are returning to Pittsburgh International Race Complex on July 6-7, 2013. What better way to finish off your 4th of July celebration than by railing around the 12 turn PIttRace circuit. We cannot think of anything better.

Chad Kagy will be our special guest at this event.

We are pleased to announce that 2013 X-Games Gold Medalist in BMX Big Air will be at our Sunday event riding and shooting a promotional video for the AMA Mid-Ohio round.

Chad is part of a small group of athletes that travels to Kuwait and Iraq to boost the morale of troops overseas protecting our way of life. He’s proud of be a member of Bikes Over Baghdad, so far they have had three tours to the Middle East. To find more information as well as photographs from all three tours, look for them on Facebook: Bikes Over Baghdad.

Today Kagy is one of the pioneers of BMX on the Mega Ramp. He currently lives in State College, PA with his wife Tiffany, and continues to push BMX on a daily basis with good friends and vert heavy-hitters Kevin Robinson, Tom Stober, John Parker and Keith McElhinney.

Free Instruction for all Levels

At this event, instruction will be provided at no additional cost to you. Our instructors are seasoned racers who are eager to share their knowledge and experiences with you. We will conduct two riding seminars after your 10am and 2pm sessions in the classroom. Topics available for discussion will be the race line for BRP, body position, braking, proper throttle application and passing. The information we discuss is backed up by a professional PowerPoint Presentation with pictures and videos. We cannot cover all of these during the day but we will mix it so when you return to a 3T event you can hear new topics of discussion. The goal of the seminars will be to provide you with some instruction in a quiet classroom setting but to not overwhelm you with too much information. The seminars are voluntary so it is up to you to attend.

We will also have coaches available for you to help answer any questions you may have or to receive one on one on track instruction. All of our coaches are experienced riders but not only that, great teachers. We continue to strive to provide you with the best tools to become a better and safer rider.

Lunch time track drive and demonstration*

What has become a staple of all 3T events is the lunch time track drive. Our lead instructor will take you on a turn by turn track drive and explain the proper line through that section, what to do correctly and things to avoid. The discussion will be followed up by an on track demonstration by our lead level 3 instructor, Skip Salenius. The goal is to not only show you that section of track and line up close but to also let you see and hear how the fast riders attack that section. The reviews by riders who have witnessed this have been phenomenal and will continue to be a huge draw to a 3T event.

*Pending weather and off track conditions.

Barbeque Saturday Night

Join us Saturday night for complimentary Hamburgers and Hot Dogs. This is a chance to get to know our staff a little better in a more relaxed atmosphere.

We hope to see you there. Thank you so much for your support. Experience the Difference of a 3T event.
