The West track is soooo much more fun that East. I may come out there unless I have to work. I don't expect to have much free time between now and Xmas since I picked up a second job for the holidays. Ride safe Dragon, I will be there should I have the day off.

How much is it and would you be able to help me prep my bike? If so, maybe i could come do it this sunday with you.

Sweet,You will like the track a lot more, due to the fact that you can see what corner is coming up next.
Trust after the first session with the begginer group you will want to be moved up into super street, and maybe just maybe with me into intermidate

Im hoping to be moved to super street by the end of the day. But I cant be moved to intermediate even if I was good enough because I dont run water wetter in my bike. Besides, I really am not sure I would be good enough to move up to that group anyways.

Roach... as my post so CLEARLY said above... leather rentals are FREE!!!!:punk:punk If you wanna do this trackday, you need to go to aztrackday.com then register, then sign up for the track day this Sunday. You can fill out your leather size while registering I believe. Once you have that done, then just prep your bike. It is actually very easy. If you do it, let one of us know and we can help you prep.

Roach - prep is very easy, you already have your mirrors removed, buy some blue painters tape from Home Depot, etc. When you get to the track, tape up for front headlight, rear taillight, and blinkers. Then un-plug your headlight and taillight bulbs, and your done!

Roach, I will bring some tape if you dont have it already. And I will be in the beginners class with ya, but Im sure we will be moved up to super street after a couple sessions.
i hope we get moved up, i know i won't want to follow an instructor around all day. so what can i expect for my first track day...meaning how will it play out is there some kind of class you have to sit through and then hit the track and play follow the leader with an instructor?:confused

From what it sounds like, they do have some instruction a bit before we go out for our first run. Then we go out and the instructors watch us. Come back, listen to their suggestions. Go back out and repeat a couple times. If the instructors see you dont belong in the beginner group, they will move you up. I dont think we really play follow the leader. I think we just ride our ride, they see if we should be moved up, and they also help us with our techniques.
