I like that aluminum cannister that is attached to the header. Mine came with a carbon fiber cannister.

Hello all, I came across this thread and I just picked up an 89' gsxr 1100 that has been bored to a 1300. It hasn't ran in 12 years but my exhaust has the yoshi stamp on the canister. Is that considered rare necessarily?

Not necessarily, but could be. Is the pipe steel, stainless or titanium? (you'd be extremey lucky) Start with what metal it is and go from there..
