I know most of you guys are from LI, where do you go to get your tires changed? Shops here in the Bronx are charging $80-100 and thats with the wheels off the bike. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hmm, I thought I remembered reading a post about Anthony changing tires, but isn't that exclusive to MMC members?
Yes it is exclusive to MMC, but for a small fee from you, to each of the MMC members, this can be taken care of. :biggrin

just kidding bro...yea he is the crew mechanic, but I'm sure he will do your tires for cheaper than the shops around you.

bahahaha. i just thinking about how i would get them to a place to change em. too big for a back-pack.. hrmf.

with my leathers on i dont think i could get them around me.. but who knows.
I drive them there the day or 2 before then ride the bike there. No biggie. Ant has changed two sets of tires for me. Worth the money IMHO.
Yeah. No car for me though and an hour seems a bit far. The tire are delivered today so i'll see what i can do as for transporting them.
Anyone know a good spot to get tires installed in manhatten or brooklyn?

Kings cycles said an HOUR PER TIRE!! they're trying to charge $175.

Pitstop is doing a bit better @ $100 flat. I'm looking around $60-$75.. This should be an hour of a labor (if that) at a shop..

Why are people trying to rob riders?
damn, thats crazy. :eek

bring me the wheels and tires - $40
bring me the bike and tires - $80
Maybe next week sometime, If I can get the tires out there.. Thats the problem.
