Hey guys I dropped my bike cuz of some wires that caught up in the forks when I was riding. Bike is fine but it won’t start. When I check the dealer code I geT _ c00 so that tells me that TP sensor adjustment is too low right? So I goto find where to adjust it and the damn thing is behind the chassis. I check the manual and it says you have to remove the throttle body to get at it. Well I got a lil Tammy and I undid the two screws securing it to the TB. I DID NOT mark it before I removed it and now I can’t get it back on. Does anyone have any suggestions how I can get at it to adjust it and also how I can get it back together. The manual is doesn’t explain it in depth enough so maybe someone knows of a better write up. Thanks for any help! Can’t wait to get her back on the rode 🤞🏻

First, what does "some wires that caught up in the forks when I was riding" mean? Something very strange is going on there and it tends to point at you.

Next, I was unaware of the K9 TPS adjustment procedure and am thoroughly unimpressed. The -C00 is checked with the engine running but to adjust it you must turn the bike off and perform some significant disassembly. Per the manual, you must lift the throttle body from the intake pipes to get to the TPS. The referenced procedure for lifting the TB involves eleven steps associated with removing it, including removing the cowling, air box, plus numerous connectors, hoses and clamps. For an E33 model you're additionally supposed to drain the tank! I strongly suspect that most of that is unnecessary for TPS adjustment but that's what the manual says. However it notably doesn't involve removing the TPS, only loosening the mounting/adjustment screw. You're then supposed to adjust it while in this state and reassemble to verify that it's correctly adjusted. Note that adjusting it requires turning the ignition on while in the disassembled state. This is probably the stupidest procedure that I've ever encountered from Suzuki. Or am I missing something?

I'm not sure about this but I think that the TPS slider mechanism is spring loaded and removing it has allowed it to rotate to a position where it won't mate with the throttle shaft. To get it to engage, look carefully at the shaft end and the TPS slider shaft. You probably have to rotate the TPS significantly from its original position to get them to mate. Once mated, you can position the TPS to where it belongs. So you probably created the problem by removing the TPS but I'm not unsympathetic, given the stupid design & adjustment procedure.

Aside from originally designing the bike so that all the disassembly was unnecessary, there has to be a much better way to adjust the TPS. I've believed for some time that it's possible to adjust it "dry" on my K6, i.e. with the engine off, and suspect that Suzuki adjusted it that way at the factory. It might involve measuring the sensor resistance but could also involve the use of the TPS test harness, something that is not mentioned in the K9 manual. That -C00 reading is just an indication of a voltage at the TPS. I have indications that -C00 corresponds to the TPS voltage being 1.12 to 1.14 V. No idea if this applies to K9.

To answer your question there was HID ballasts with cables that were too tight were they were installed and it caused the forks to lock up. I’ve since de routed them to a better spot. Yeah definitely a very involved procedure. The tps is terribly hard to acccess where they installed it

are you trying to be funny I'm a Master Mechanic position solenoid has 3 wires to it. What is a 9-volt point of Regulation and to is your damn values which it goes up and down
No. Since you still can't seem to figure it out, we're all STILL trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with you.

Either that the values going to be below. What is range you moron
I'm getting fed-up with this clown.

Make one more idiotic, multi-post response and see what happens. I suspect it'll be a race among us staff to see who gets to drop the hammer on your syphilitic, incoherent, rambling ass. You come across as a complete idiot and most of us WERE trying to play nice.

Check to make sure you're not mixing up your pill colors before you post again, "Mr Master Mechanic".
