Hey guys,

I know this qustion has been asked before but, I'm still not quite clear on the process. How do you tighten up the throttle cable play on our bikes? Do I need to adjust the cable while the bike is running and can I do this at the handlebars or do I need to do it at the carbs? Thanks in advance...

Warm the bike up.. then with it running turn the bars to full lock left and adjust the play near the grip. Once the idle starts to go up back it off just a hair. Like maybe a 1/4 turn. Then tighten the locker on it...

Turn the bars from lock to lock and make sure there is no idle jump..

Thanks for the reply...YOU ROCK!!!!

One more question though...Which adjuster do I turn the one that's closer to the brake lever or the one closer to the grip. According to the manual it looks like I turn (A). Also, do I need to loosen (B) the one that returns cable or can I just turn (A) the one for pulling cable?
