hello, I was just wondering if, based on your experience, there is a relatively "safe" ignition advance that can be applied on a 600 k7, without access to dyno and knock sensor

I know this question can be quite non-sense, for what I've understood reading about the topic, the bare minumum of a meaningful tune would be run several time on dyno, advancing a little each time, finding the momernt when torque/power stop to rise, and with some tool/sensor to detect eventual backfires (i dont know if is that the exact english term :) )
so it shoild definively not a thing to test empirically , and damages can be big. i've understood that

but at the same time i've read lot of considerations about the fact (TRE excluded) that these engines are set in a conservative way, and tgart make totally sense, considered the wide range of fuel qualities around europe, and the fact the bike is intended to last thoiusands of km

now, i've my bike for track only. i've not, actually, accesso to a dyno. i've possibility to edit timing on the ecu
once done the TRE, im wonedring: there is a "safe" amount of ignition advance that can be applied "empirically", to gain some power remaining in a safe range, for track use only and with normal quality fuel?

or this, definitevely, is not a thing to try without dyno and knok sensor?
any of you have edited these values without a proper real and objective test?

Advancing the timing should only be done by a professional dyno tuner. With a knock sensor. Don’t do it without one. You could ruin your motor if you send the piston in the wrong direction. But yes there is usually small gains to be had. But leave it to a professional to find where gains can be made.
