I'm going to be replacing my pads this weekend and was wondering what I should be getting. I've heard that oe pads on bikes are usually your best bet. I ride fairly aggresively and use my brakes hard. I don't care too much about squealing and dust but it would help if the pads weren't too bad in that area. I have the slotted rotors and the '89 calipers if that makes a difference.

I recently replaced my fronts with the cheaper of the EBC selction and they seem to be alright. I used the same type on my rears a while back and there about due again. So, I would probably go with a higher end set (race) if I were looking for longevity, next time. As for OEM pads, those were the original fronts! I would have to give them a big thumbs up!
Out of the four allen bolts that keep the calipers on, be prepared for at least one real tough one.
