What are my options out there for upgrading the suspension on my '85? Namely my rear shock is pretty much shot. Its the original one in there and I think its seen its fair share of use. Is this shock rebuildable or would I have to buy a new one? If I do have to buy a new one, what's an affordable option. I'm only going to keep this bike for another year so Ohlins is pretty much out of the question.

Also, does Racetech make gold valves for my forks. Actually, I've got 1100 forks on it so I guess the question is do they make valves for an 86 1100 fork?

racetech does have cartridge emulators for the '86 1100 forks - part # FEGV S4101. springs for those forks are also available - part # FRSP S3234xx (xx = spring rate required - - can be from .80 to 1.00 kg/mm). as for the shock, i'm sorry to say it appears as though the stock unit is not rebuildable. hope this helps out. matthew
