Hey Gixx, isn't that fork a dampning rod item as opposed to a cartridge fork? If so, the only adjustment you can do stock is preload and oil weight change (unless you pull the rod out and fuck with the hole size). You won't have rebound/compression damping like the GSXR750 of the same year did. Like you mention, a cartridge emulator would probably do the trick. Given the total cost in $CDN, you might wanna check with Supersport to see if they have a set of cartridge forks that would/could/might move in.
I don't know fuck about the NEAS. Gave up on that shit when I found out that the old Honda equivalents didn't work either. I _think_ gixxerjoey has written some stuff about modding that....at any rate, he seems to be the resident expert on that stuff anyway.
I'm running 10wt on my beast, which is working out fine after a season on 7.5 to check it out. Don't know how that translates, but since neither of us is exactly puny, you might want to start higher than whatever the factory recommends.
Hey, check the Ride Club - we gotta get together, even if just for a short zip.
