Think there's six episodes in this series if my memory serves correctly covering curriculum levels 1 - 4.

Watching the clips and reading Code's TOTW is worthwhile ahead of attending the school imho.
I'd love to go on one of their courses, it's not even that bad price wise (around £350/day), but they aren't near us and I'd need a one-piece leather too.

You can hire leathers at the school - sorted.

Now how far away is your nearest school? Are we talking six hours drive or six days?
Not that bad, around 2 hours away. Still 2 hours ride + full day riding + 2 hours back is a long time so would most likely have to stay overnight.

Also I'm not sure what happens if you damage your bike, how do you get it fixed/get home/not lose your days training.

It seems they do rental bikes but those cost about the same again

When I attended CSS the other week I'd say 80% of students rode their bikes to / from the school. There was one low speed crash from a total of 80 riders attending each of the two days. Crashes at CSS are rarer than track days because the drills you learn are at 60-80% of your bikes limit. This is because the coaches want you to focus on your technique in performing the drill and not speed (speed is a biproduct of good technique).

The other option is to hire / borrow a trailer and tow your bike. A wooden wheel chock is easy to make and loading straps and ramps are cheap as chips.

Last year I rode my other bike to the school and trailered my current this time around.

Do it, you'll love it.

I'm a coach with the Superbike School and I'm happy to answer any questions about the school and curriculum etc if you have any. As for riding to the track, we have lots of students that do ride to and from the track though good to note that it is a long day and you may be tired at the end so be aware of that. It's often easier and much less hassle to rent a bike there as you then don't have to worry about tires, gas, bike maintenance OR something happening to your bike. Crashes can happen but are rarer at the school because all coaches and corner workers are on the look out for any on-track riding mistakes or non-compliance with any of the rules and will pull students in and keep track of all issues. Our first priority is keeping everyone on track as safe as possible. That being said, if you do crash then the bike and gear is looked at and you are only charged for what is broken and needs to be replaced up to the full amount of the deductible....so technically you could smash the bike up completely and only pay whatever the max deductible is (and I'm not sure exactly what that amount is...)

Hope that helps and feel free to ask more questions if you have any!
