Anybody know where I can get the middle gear between the STVA motor and the big plastic gear? Or if I can just use a generic servo gear that about the same size?

This the cable driven unit? If so, you can buy an exhaust actuator from any of the newer GSX-R. The guts are the same.

No it's a direct mount. It's a 2003. Do you know what STVA will work. I found a 2003 1000 for $90. It's the same part number. But I don't know if the STVA I have is the correct one. I sent you and email through eBay explaining everything.

The modern STVAs never had a part number. They're considered part of the throttle body. Did you take it apart and lose yours?

Yes I did. It's just a small brass gear. That's all I need.

So like this? You lose the clip too? This is from a 2009 1000 Keihin STVA. Should be the same.

I don't think there was ever a clip which is probably why it would open my butterflies. But yes that similar to what I had.

So you have bigger problems. The spindle for the gear is part of the housing. Your spindle is broken off. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you need a replacement STVA. I'd be curious to see how similar it is to the one I have.

Looks identical unfortunately someone hardwired my STVA so it's going to be an even bigger adventure. I have been looking for a new STVA just can't seem to find one that isn't $250. I can't afford that.

Did they cut the entire connector out, or just on the STVA side?

They cut 2 wires out of the both connectors that's it. But it looks like all keihin are the same even the Kawasaki's. Same rivet pattern and everything. I'm going to order a Kawasaki one and see if the bottom casing will fit mine. I found one for $50 on eBay.
