Had a brilliant ride today , destination was Stoney creek ... Which happens to have a cool little go kart track !!!

We had a dozen bikes on the ride , left Maffra at 9:30am ... The trip takes in alot of twisty roads , so not to be taken lightly by a noob !!!

Stoney creek is around an hour from the Philip island circuit ...

This is the go kart track ... Fastest lap time is fiercely fought for !!!

Sadly I came 4th :twitch

The trip there and back is around 4 hours ... We stopped in at our favorite bike cafe at mirboo north for lunch , great food and service !!!
Lots of cool bike racing memorabilia on display too ...

Just a heads up for anyone that may want to ride in along the strezleki Hwy be aware that Vic-roads has just started extensive road works with frustrating time delays !!!

Your much better off detouring from Rosedale ...
