Ok,

I want to buy a steering damper but don't know what length to buy. I can buy on in 50mm, 70mm, 100mm, 120mm, 140mm and 160mm. Which one would be best for my 03 Gix 1000 that sees monthly track days and will be raced next year?? anybody???

What damper are you looking at? GPR, Scotts, Hyper Pro are usually made bike specific and I've never seen them come in sizes. Or are you looking at a universal model? For trackdays I would think the stock unit would be fine if you can live without the adjustability.
