Hey guys, maybe someone's been through this before? Sometimes after I shut the bike down and then try to restart (like today at the bank) It won't fire. The idiot lights come on but no sound. Everytime this happens the headlights don't come on either (usually they do when I turn the key on). The bike always fires at home just won't always restart when I'm out on the road! Any ideas?

Try spraying WD-40 inside the starter button on the right hand handlebar... Can you hear the starter solenoid "click" when you press the start button?

Could be dirty side stand switch, clutch switch, battery connections
