I’ve got two issues that I *think* are independent, but both appeared around the same time. 1.) Starter motor intermittently won’t turn. Voltage on the battery/at motor is 12+ And drops to 8v either when starting or (intermittently) when not turning. When not turning, sometimes there’s a mechanical clunk first (too loud to be solenoid) usually not. For all intents and purposes, as if it’s in gear or siezed and unable to turn. Then suddenly it’ll turn and fire up. Seems to happen more often when cold.
2.) gutless at low revs. Seems like running out of fuel. Eg starter motor turning but not firing for ages. Hill starts require riding the clutch. Once I get to high revs it’s fine.
