I've read a few threads and I understand that viscosity charts have already been made. I also understand that 5w may vary among manufacturers. That said, I have a 2011 GSX-R750 and the service manual for the 600 (presume same for 750) says to use SS-47. So my question is, what would be a good replacement (brand, weight, viscosity) for stock oil when going to the track? Odds are the fork oil is original from 7 years ago. I put on EBC HH brake pads and they bite so well that the front dives. I can add compression damping but want to check in with you here to see what my options are. I don't want to get lost in a sea of guesses. If I don't get a concrete recommendation, I'll just stick with stock. Thanks.

I'm assuming stock internals...

Go with just a quality brand 5w. Picking flyshit from pepper WRT oil is a waste of breath until you get fast enough to warrant a fork kit. If your forks are diving, regardless of brake pad, you are not smooth on your brake application or you have too slow compression damping.
