Hi I recently got a 98 750 as part of a trade
unk
I had a 600 before and still regret selling it.
since the bore and stroke is 72x46 on the 96-99 and the same on some of the later years I found that the Suzuki GSX-R 750 K4 seems to be the best for my piston/rod swap.
72 x 46 mm Compression Ratio 12.3:1
Lighter weight forged pistons with chrome-nitride-coated upper compression rings and oil control rings for a harder, more consistent ring finish and reduced friction
I'm not sure if the rods would fit in my 98 but since they are stronger it would be great to use.
This way I would get a nice set of forged pistons with stronger rods (at a good price) for my turbo bike I'm hoping to build.
I figure I should be able to lower the compression with a thicker head gasket or a spacer plate at the block.
From what I've read the Srad seems to be a great bike for turbo charging.
Mark Moisan used to sell a kit for them and at 8 Psi the bike produced roughly 200 Hp ?
