Hi all new to this and have a serious headake of a problem with a 1998 srad 600 not turning over. The clutch safety switch has been crossed and checked with a multi meter to clarify, same has been done with the kick stand switch and checked. All the relays have power and are opening and clicking when ignition is turned on. I have checked the continuity through all the wires on the handle bars and ignition key switch. Kill switch on right hand handle bar is working as I can hear it click the solenoid when switched. The battery is brand new with 12.78 volts and the starter is working as if I cross at the solenoid with a screwdriver it will turn over no problem. The only thing I can see it is not doing is blip the Rev counter when ignition is switched on? any help would be very much appreciated thanks!

sounds like you have authenticated everything but the starter itself, jump it over right at the starter with a screwdriver,be careful..

first test for hotness right at the starter, then you just jump it like the old car starters, that way you are bypassing everything but the battery positive.. if you have juice at the positive battery lead at starter but wont turn over you have stater issues, if you have no power at the starter then work backwards till culprit is identified.. I guess?

Yep fuel pump is priming and if i Jump the starter it will turn over no problem just will not start off the button like it should? Thanks ? just wondering if there is a common fault in them doing this? The wireing loom isent new but all the wires have contact from end to end so I don’t think it is wires and there is a new ecu in it came off a running bike
