Hi all
I am interested in buying a K7 1000

My previous buy which I got in haste was a CBR600rr, needless to say the dealer that sold it to me are the biggest online dealers in South Africa and did not disclose many of the item’s deficiencies.
I only found these out when I wanted to sell.
Lost about $500

I have attached a pic of the tank of the K7 , the sticker on the tank has a clear coat on it , but not on the fairings ...
Is this normal ...?

The official Suzuki pics of the K7 show the "S" badge located higher up on the nearly horizontal surface of the tank's front cover. Hard to tell but the top pic on 8-7 of the service manual seems to show the same thing as seemingly does the parts manual. It was lowered to where yours is for K8. However non-official pics of K7's show it in your location. So it seems that Suzuki either changed it before releasing the bikes or it was a running change during K7.

Yours is not the only EDS K7 that was changed to yellow/black.
It's clearly been fooled with.

It has ..., I manage to get it checked up at Suzuki and it turns out it was registered Yellow/Silver ...
Depending who you ask doesn’t look bad though ...

I was referring to the Zero Gravity bike. Another subtlety involves the "SUZUKI" decal at the bottom. A pic that you posted elsewhere seems to show a very dark decal like the one used on the black CRU model. But the parts manual, official Suzuki pics, and the Zero Gravity bike show a much lighter decal (the parts manual says silver). That could just be an angle of reflection issue in your picture.
