i have never tried but can you just hook up a small motor and spin the odometer all the way back around to zero or a specified milage what about a newr electronic one is it possible with that???

ya know upon doing some work trying to get my speedo to have a needle again I found out that if its spun back it goes back too... I wonder how many times this has been performed...?

why would you want to do this ???are you not planing to ever selll the bike ??? I never get this when guys try and do this ,what is the reason for wanting to do this ???if you dont mind me asking ??I have a 89 gsxr 750 and love that it has 24k on it and take pride that the bike has made that !!! just asken....

Probably for the same reason most people would want to do it, because the gauge they currently have installed does not represent the correct mileage. This could be for a number of reasons.

Take out speedo light,use a Small screw driver,SLOWLY klick clickl it to leagl reading
Did it to mine when i changed 180 Japan to 280,it had done.17000KM,and thats where i set it
Dont:nono get bull heded and force any thing
Im as crook as a dog to night,but ill fight on

yeah ive been thinkin of getting a new set of gauges since the ones on it are worn too much for my liking or even been thinking of putting a '00-'04 set of clocks on just want it to represent the actual milage no im not a crook :nono i hate when people try to jew people like :mad that makes shit bad for everyone id really like the newer gauges but im kinda a fanatic about milage :wacko i really use it to gauge the bike and what i should be doing to it as far as maintenence since i got it with 26K on the clocks and the speedo cable has been broken since 98 the milage never changed once on the title since '98 :rolleyes
