Went to the dealer to pick up some 10W40 for oil change, and he doesn't even carry it. I understand that 20W50 per the manual and my climate (summer's 90+, winter 75+) that 20W50 would be applicable, but 10W40 is even in that temp range per the manual.

For you Southern U.S. riders, are you using 10W40 or 20W50?

For your climate, 20W50 will work fine. Probably a little better than 10W40 in your case.

I can only dream. I hate the cold. I would take 95 degrees and 100% humidity over below freezing temps and snow any day of the week. Thankfully, summer is just around the corner.
