i have had other bikes with slip on exhaust. but my 05 1k still has the stock.and i have 14,000 miles on it. did that in 3 months. the stock system on this bike is better than any i have had. and i got "snowballs from hell" on the tips. (using race fuel of course) my question to all you slip on 1k riders. 05/06 is. i need more sound. so i am forced to get a yosh (trs carbon) i did not want a yosh since i have already had so many but. i did like the quality and looks. the big question is. have any of you 05/06 owners that actually have a slip on installed and nothing else. experienced and loss/gains. after removing the exhaust servo. i want to slip it on and do nothing else. i am happy with the performance of my bike and it does not need anymore /less horsepower. for me and my usable circumstances. just want more sound.

I just put a Micron Highmount s/o on my '06 1K..
It's not too obnoxious until around 8k..
Very deep growl.


p.s. 14K in 3 months of riding??
How the fuck did you manage that?
