If you would like to be the best at anything too do with a motorcycle, learn to stop it, (has saved my butt many times) don't try to stop as fast as you can at first, you might mess up. Take your time and practice.
Hope this saves someone butt!!!

Good reminder to practice stopping quickly on a motorcycle as it is a very important skill to have and something that most people don't practice enough. But what are some solid technical points on HOW to stop a motorcycle quickly? What makes an emergency stop smooth and safe with a very small stopping distance? And why do some panic stops result in crashes, locking the front or rear brake, long skids or long stopping distances?

Thank you,
When I was a 16 year old kid, I had a new 1973 7504ever Honda. I worked at a service station that had 3 driveways, at the last telephone pole before the first drive at 60 mph I could not stop until the 3 driveway.
After a week of practicing I could pull in the first one 100 mph.

I don't know the answer to all those questions. But practice stoping and try to be as good as you can be.
And too the rest of you. I was just trying to help. My apologies!!!
