Just wondering how many have you been out to the Shannonville, Mosport tracks in Ontario?
Is it true you need a spine protector? How'd you like the track? Just some comments and information. I've checked on the website, but some peronal experience is what im looking for. Thanks guys.

Nope have never been there before. But I'm going this May for the FAST Riding School.

I don't believe you need a spine protector, I'll ask my buddy who's a tech guy for some of the track dayz.

Been to both. All the track organizers I've gone with don't require a back protector, but all recommend it.

Mosport's a great track, but not recommended if it's your first time on a track. It's has lots of elevation changes and is extremely fast and flowing. If you make a mistake your gonna go down hard. On the back straight, I would be redlining my Kawi 636 in sixth gear.

Shannonville is completely flat, no elevation changes. It's more techincal than Mosport and can be run in many different configurations. Nelson track is smaller and more technical, Fabi is smoother, more flowing, and long track is a combination of both tracks. I prefer Fabi or long track.

even though it's maybe just recommand: get one ad wear it.

it's better to have more protection then not enough.

I'm planning on going to try both track this year: can't wait!!!

I have been to both....some organizers like ProMotion, and the Ducati club make the back protectors mandatory . Some other don't. I find Mosport turns 2 and 4 to be more difficult to get right than anything at shannonville.
