Check the Tip over switch in the tail section had similar prob thought it was reg. Rectifier, turned out when the last owner had power commander installed the shitty shop cobbled the wiring up and the Tip over switch came lose and under hear would cause the bike to shut down till it cooled off. Just like the regulator rectifier would do when going bad. Check that just a suggestion.Ok this is crazy and annoying at the same time. I have found over a dozen links on here that claim to have a download for the service manual. However every link is a dead end. Does anyone actually have a link or could someone possibly email me the manual.
I am having electrical issue with my 07 gsxr. It started and ran fine Saturday. The chec f1 displayed after about 10 minutes. It still started and ran fine until my 4th stop. I went to start and got nothing it acted like the bike was not in Nuetral. I was able to bump start it and ride it home but no restart after. I did put it in dealer mode and got the -c00. I know the bike does not always like to start with the kickstand down at times I have to put it up to start it but now 90% of the time I get nothing. When it does start it will run for about a min then shuts off. I can rev to keep it going but when I let of it stalls again.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions. I have read and searched a lot and am leaning towards replacing the gps first. I will have the battery tested. The service manual is needed for the steps in testing the rectifier and stator. My gsxr experience is starting off bad unfortunately, as I only bought the bike 3 weeks ago. I have a 2000 yzf 600r, and for the past 5 year I never had a single issue with it.
