First of all, THANK YOU! Wow, this is exactly what I was looking for. This is really great, I sincerely appreciate you taking the time and making the effort to help me out, with just my gratitude alone being enough to make it worth it for you. I hope I can return the favor someday, and if not, I will pay it forward by helping somebody else.

2 questions:
1. Where did you find it (Clymer? Hayes?)? Because factory Suzuki shop manuals don't have color, at least not the ones I have owned.
2. I am curious about the 50 revisions you mention. Can you enlighten me?

I started with the diagram in the service manual and colored the leads (adding the stripe color is a PITA), then corrected some errors and started moving things around to minimize the number of crossings and direction changes, then annotated the ECM leads, then added the connectors. It went on and on and on and on as I kept thinking of one more thing to add. It was all done with Photoshop.

Holy crap, seriously? Is that to say that the Suzuki manual was incorrect, or just that you recognized the benefit of a colored diagram and nobly stepped up to Photoshop with mouse in hand and started chopping, er....clicking away?!? That's a lot of work, no wonder you are eager to share it where people can enjoy (and appreciate) it. You have every right to brag about this! Well you should feel good about this then: I went on Office Depot's website and uploaded your masterpiece (<---French accent here pls) and had them print out a large format copy, laminated for good measure and mounted on the wall of the storage unit where I'm swapping my two piece k6 1000 frame for one that's actually one piece! I am told it should ride better without the matching cracks "amidships", lol. The link below is a pic I just took (for you), not sure why I was unable to post the actual pic here in our conversation, but I tried everything and it keeps saying "something went wrong, or it just does nothing. I tried using the sites "link" feature as an alternative but had the same result. My last resort is to manually imbed the code without using the link icon, and just assign a link to my Drive acct and send you there. Anyway, hope it works, and thanks again for sharing the impressive fruit of your hard work and diligence!

I've been working on a vector image version that can be enlarged without losing sharpness. I also have a K5/K6 service manual with over 3000 changes (many are very slight). It continues to be updated and has been downloaded over 12,000 times.

First of all thank you again for this late birthday present, because that's what it feels like it is. Secondly, I have a question:
the impressive list of files you sent shows two k6 service manuals. One says "updated" (4,000+ downloads) and the other which does not say "updated" (12,000+ downloads). My confusion stems from the fact that the file which is not titled "updated" is 13 weeks newer than the older file titled "updated". Moreover, you mentioned in an earlier message to use the file with 12,000 downloads, and now you say use the one with 4500 downloads. I really don't care which file is wining the "total number of downloads contest", I just want to make sure I am using the best one for me. Set me straight here if you don't mind. Thanks again for this regardless. Suzuki should definitely be made aware of all you have done here and if not hire you, at least cut you a check as a consultant - just my 2 cents.

One of us is missing something. I show the updated version as almost ten years newer than the non-updated version. The date just reflects when it was uploaded. You get to use whichever you want. I obviously prefer the updated version. I originally started this because I didn't like the Japlish and there was a huge error in the rear sprocket torque (which may have been corrected in the non-updated version). Suzuki is not interested in my efforts. I sent them a four page letter pointing out that the part number for the wiring harness shroud in their parts listing is incorrect. I additionally suggested what it should be based on the K7 listing. It was never acknowledged and, years later, remains uncorrected. There's a related problem with the frame recall instructions.

I have k6 1k I just purchased no issues whatsoever and pleasantly upgraded, I had Suzuki do the frame brace. Is that what you were referring to when you said “there’s a related problem with the frame recall instructions”? You clearly have some real knowledge so I have to ask. Thank you.

The issue with the frame brace is, unlike the MC recall, the individual parts of the frame brace are not listed anywhere. So you have a problem if you need a part. The frame brace kit includes a flanged spacer that fits in the cushion for the under cowl. The spacer fits loosely and can fall out & be lost when the under cowl is removed. Without the spacer the cushion can easily be over-compressed. I spoke to Suzuki about this in 2014. They supposedly were going to do something about it but seven years later there's nothing. See this. The missing figure is on page 6/13 here.

HOW DO YOU KNOW ALL THIS!?!? Bro your an absolute madman lol but for real if you have any other diagrams or anything you’ve built like the one for the k6 and wouldn’t mind sharing them I’d greatly appreciate any knowledge from you.
