When you or your passenger get on or off the bike, lock the front wheel.
If you slip or loose your balance with the wheel locked, you can use the bike to hold you up. If the wheel is not locked you both may fall!!!
Hope this helps someone.

Dude, you're posting over and over with little tidbits of maintenance 101 and riding 101 on the worlds largest single-brand sportbike forum, which is in essence a vast encyclopedia of knowledge about all things bike-related. In one of the two threads you started on the subject of calipers alone, the advice you provide is incomplete / incorrect and when a senior member corrected you, you argued with the guy. Very odd and off to a great start.

Another one of your pearls of wisdom was literally 'learning to brake is good'.

What's next? Are you going to post a thread recommending that people learn to feel comfortable leaning-in to turns? Or another about the merits of proper tire pressure?

I suspect you're trying to get your post-count up but post-whoring is a big no-no.

Oh and by the way, welcome to the community and of course feel free to join-in on threads to contribute your thoughts and experience. That is, after all, what this place is all about. Right or wrong, you'll get feedback. I love it when people correct me because every time that happens, I come-out of it a little smarter than before.

My two bits: You just need to pace yourself a little lol.

Thank you very much for your cordial invitation, and I thank you for the good advice.
Sorry, this is my first forum. I didn't know it was bad to write to many post. I have a little over 50 years of experience on bikes. I really just wanted to help.
I had a list already, l was going to post. I don't think I will. I will try to maybe help someone with there post. If I can find a recent one?
And Iornhead won't have to keep correcting me. I am sure he has something else to do.
(Thank you Iornhead)
Thank all of you, hope your rides are all good!!!
