Doing my first ever tyre change / Sprocket and chain change, are jack stands advisable to leave me pride and joy on definitely feels stable enough and I've got good movement and space to reach everything I need to loosen/remove.

It looks a little sketchy and you may need to take the fender off to get the tire off. Maybe put some straps on the bike to something as an extra precaution. What type of rear stand is that? Some of those are questionable. Its worth getting some pitbull stands. Especially if you like to do work yourself.

I've used loads of different stands over the years, but for me, Abba superbike stand (especially with the new Front Lift stand) are the best

Stock header? Break everything loose on the front end and then just jack it up under the header. Use a block of wood to keep from scratching it. This is how the manual actually advises to do it.

Or buy a front stand if you're going to do this stuff yourself.

put some leather pads in the notches of those front stands, more grip and wont marr up the powder coating on those carriers as well..
