Ok.. instead of trying to PM everyone... I started a new thread.

So if you are in Sacramento, Sac County, or you're such a rider that you want to commute into the area to meet some of your fellow GDC members, jump on here and show yourselves unk

I was thinking we should do this in the next couple of weekends to give everyone a chance to change tires, bleed brakes, and get permission from the head of your household (the wifey). :biggrin

Ha! Same responses I get trying to fine people further south in the Bay Area. I am tempted to go up north just to meet some other riders, and plus a couple of my friends bought some houses up there maybe I can time both.

I'm in your area, next weekend I teach MSF, the weekend of the 25/26th I'm open. Weekend of 12/2-3 I'm also open. Barring heavy rain, of course. Where u wanna go? Anybody else running Chatterboxes? I'm down to ride, I do highway 49 almost every weekend or altamong canyon. I work a swing shift mon-fri and ride mornings also. I need to get new tires in the near future but let me know what the plans are and I'm there.. weather permitting

I never rode mosquito ridge Rd but it sure looks wicked on
google maps closeup looks like one giant loop maybe? if you
take foresthill Rd, anyone ever do it? I am more familiar
with wentworth springs Rd & berryessa area..

Bottom line is... are we riding? What time (there is a frost advisory for tonite). If your're going, chime in. I'm in Lockeford/Clements tonite and if no one says there in, I'm drinking (more) and I'm gonna stay until morning. If y'all are in, post up and I'll drink (more) and be up early tomorrow so I can be back in town in time to ride. I'd prefer not to ride before 10AM, but I'm flexible.

Update: there are a few riders and fellow Instructors departing from the Safety Center on Bradshaw Road at around 1230 or so (or whenever we get all the students outta there and the bikes put away. I understand this will be a jaunt up Folsom-Auburn Road to Auburn, then 49 to Placerville, and from there it's anybody's guess! If you wanna ride, join us. I'll be on the Black 04 1k.
