Um, the link you posted is for diesel oil... Not sure if that matters.

However, I have always believed that car oil should be used in cars, and bike oil in bikes. Car oil generally has friction modifiers in it, which are very bad for our wet clutches.

I've used T6 in my 04 600 for a good while and was very pleased. I use it in my Jeep Cherokee and even in my lawn mower. But I used it in my bike before the label was removed. That link that was posted said the oil hasn't changed but it's up to you.

I am switching to rotella not because of the price of mobil1 but because I am not happy with that oil in my cars/motorcycle any more.
I was gonna try Valvoline full synth but found out about t6 which I used before in car with success.
Like many people on the other forum mentioned, I am not happy with their response so I will return it and get Valvoline.

I have 3 jugs bought recently at Wal-Mart and it has the JASO MA label on it. Just checked
As I mentioned in my opening post, it has JASO label but it does not said in description that oil is good for 4 stroke engines like it did before.

I missed that. I thought you meant the rating was gone as mentioned in the link SPL provided. As long as it has JASO MA label on it. I'd still use it unless I noticed a difference in the performance of the clutch.

A 4 stroke engine? What other type of engine are you going to use it for. It's not designed for a 2-cycle, that's for sure.

JASO MA certification has to due with the motorcycle's wet clutch transmission.

Is there anybody that was using this oil for longer period of time and how many miles? Or anybody that you know.
What is viscosity compared to full synthetic motorcycle oils, like mobil 1 or motul or amsoil?

hundreds and hundreds (maybe thousands?) of motorcycle riders have been using T6 (and the other Rotellas) in their bikes for years. I've been using it in both my 1000 and 600 racebike for the last ~4 years now. No oil related issues to speak of.

The T6 shears quicker than the Rotella T 15W40. I'd prefer the 15W40.

Been using Caltex (Chevron) Delo 400 multigrade 15W40 for ever (6 years). Just changed to Mobil Delvac MX 15W40 for the last change. Buy it in 20 litre drums.

How many miles total on each motorcycle with rotella?
I will probably do oil change today then. Should I change filter because i am going to different brand oil? ( Filter has only around 4k miles).
Thank you for your help

I change filters at 3K miles on street or after every other trackday or race weekend. YMMV
