hey everyone, jsut picked up some rimstripes from tapeworks.com....was wonderin if any1 has done this b4 and if removing the tire is the better (easier) route.....thanx 4 any info

I did mine with the tire on and a rear pitbull stand. I think it would be much easier if the tire was off.

I've done 2 sets of wheels - one off and one on. It's def easier off, but not hard when on either.

Yeah, prepping is everything. Especially removing fling from chain grease. Really concentrate on keeping a circular, even pattern. Step back every once in awhile and take a break too, it can take a while.

Its super EASY !!!! I had a rear stand for the back tire and just rolled the bike when I needed for the front rim.

It took about 20 mins. to do the whole bike, and its perfect !!
I posted this pic before, but here it it anyways...

I'm not a fan of rimtape, but that does look really good!!

OMG kingb, everytime i see your bike i drool. lol. Well, i left my wheels on and just did it why the bike was on it's kick stand. I just had to push the bike backwords to finish up the job. I did not have any problems. No air bubbles or creases.
