Woodcraft only makes a guard.

I guess I must be blind then - I only see the small starter cover on their site.

I did find a REAL right side cover though - and it would have saved me a major headache if it wasn't so hard to find...

I just looked again and the only full covers for an '06 GSXR 1000 are for the left side. The cool looking right covers are for the 600/750.

Holly shit, Rob. You weren't kidding about your bike getting banged up a bit. I've got the Factory Pro units with the built-in sliders. Not sure where to find exactly what you're looking for. Gotta be out there somewhere. Good luck.

I found it - and it would have saved my bike big time! I don't know why EVERYONE with a bike like ours doesn't know about this!

The one with the puck on it would have kept me from picking sand out of my engine and wondering if the engine will run after it is repaired!

Prolly cuz most of us have crashed new gen Gixxer a hundred times over and have never encountered that, let alone seen it happen.

Looks like you were a fluke scenario where the lower case came into contact with a curbing or some other hard object.

Willow - turn 6 - lowside - no curbing - just HIGH speed. Rigid Woodcraft rearsets/ Woodcraft frame sliders. The clip-on handlebars didn't even touch the pavement! Maybe the cheap-ass Goodfather Racing bodywork was partially at fault.

All I can say is that you all have been warned... ;-)
