Hey people, tried searching but could not find anything, which surprises me. Because this boggles my mind.

How on earth do you access the low-beam headlight globe!?
Is there a trick to this im not getting? (besides getting a 5 year old with tiny hands to have a crack at it)

in particular there is a section of wiring harness that seems to go right over the globe housing that otherwise seems to make a difficult job largely impossible without being very aggressive with the wiring harness which i would like to avoid...

cheers
J

You're following the service manual? As I understand it, the key step is to remove the cluster.

The high beam may be even harder.

no i havent looked at the service manual. I kinda thought they would make replacement of simple consumables like this an intuitively simple task...
I think you are right though. removal of the cluster does seem to be the only way to properly access it.
The low beam is the top globe. High beam is the bottom one and easily accessible.
