Hi guys,
looking to remove the fuel tank to do some work on it.
Is it as simple as getting it up on the prop-up rod and then disconnecting the fuel hoses (and I think some sort of wiring that connects to the tank) and then reconnecting it when im finished?
or do I have to consider any other things/ doing it differently to avoid air in those fuel lines etc?

Nope, it is pretty simple.

Remove the seat, prop up the tank, disconnect the wiring and fuel line, and unbolt it.

Post removed. I was thinking of raising instead of removing the tank.
