hi gang today while riding my '04 1000 i got a flat on my front tire lucky enough i was near my girlfriends house so i parked it there. i planned on going back to her house tommorw to try to pull the front wheel off so i can bring it to a tire shop to put a plug in it or replace it. my question is what tools will i need to bring with me to remove the front wheel? i want to be prepared with the right tools before getting there!

thanks!

Tools are obvious, it's how to raise front that's tricky, rope handle bars to roof beams/ tree or purpose built stand.

DONT plug it especially the FRONT i ran some plugs in the rear tires ( both car plugs / patch plugs ) some times just to get by untill tires came in But I would Never plug a front tire with any plug even patch plugs . Just the thought of plugging the rear tire alone really Ruined my rides as it sticks in your mind as your riding the fear of it letting go lol . But yes if you can just get new front do that . as you will feel way more secure .
