I cannot say 100% as I don't have either bike or plastics, but all information leads to the only change between the gen 3.12 06-07 and 08-10 is;
"revised headlights, new colors, multi-mode power adjustments. At the rear wheel"
fact is all 5 years are listed as "gen 3.12" so that would indicate they are very much identical, no aggressive upgrades..
my guess is any difference in body work will be at the headlight which won't matter to you as race has no headlight anyways unless its endurance.. you can visually see teh difference in the headlight on comparison..
the fact guys are saying they are using 08 on an 06 is a good indication they cross, if you're apprehensive call the place you are buying from and ask if the part numbers are different or if they cross over? bout all you can do unless someone chimes in and verifies.. takes a while sometimes.. from what I am reading it looks good but I just looked at the 2 models and headlight shape is very different so if you were counting on that no..
actually the headlight is radically different, and it appears the ram air inlet is different, that doesn't mean the ram air tubes are different or wont work but inquire on that as well you will need those, a lot of race kits you get new tubes..
the seller should know all this, maybe hit a racer forum if you are in a hurry and need an answer?
