Ok well for starters... I'm a newbie to the gixxer board but not a newbie to riding (well on the back of bikes). lol I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a couple things. First off, I'm looking for a one-piece suit. Maybe a two. Not sure which is better since i mostly ride on the back for now, till i get my own. My bf (trae) has started doing track days this year and we wanna be able to one day do two-ups. So i could use some help on which suit would best fit my needs. I'm 5'4 130 lbs. so maybe some size put out could help too... Also i like to show off that my bf rides a gixxer, so i've been searching the internet for some gixxer clothing... Any help on that? :dunno

I personally would go with a 1-pc . . . but if you're going to double duty it, go with a 2-pc. Just make sure you get one that the connecting zipper goes all the way around. Some tracks won't allow anything less . . . as for size, each brand will have a sizing chart.

I don't really do the whole matchy gsxr stuff so can't help on that.

Look into Alpinestars, they have a women's line. If the suit will be used for both street and track, a 2 piece is better, but as mentioned, it needs to have a full-circumference zipper. It's also best if you can try stuff on first.
Vanson has women's stuff, too, but I don't like their 3 piece zipper arrangement and wouldn't consider it safe for track use. However, Vanson can modify a jacket/pants combo for you and put on a full zipper.

I went custom, sometimes it's better in the long run, so it's something to consider. Barnacle Bill makes excellent suits for a great price.

Joe Rocket makes a number of Suzuki motorcycle apparel specifically cut for women. You might want to look into that if you are going after GSXR logo's apparel. Jaeckets, gloves, etc.

Speed and Strength is also coming out with a lot of new apparel as well. ICON also makes a line as well for GSXR apparel in women's cuts.

Too bad more companies don't make more ladies specific riding gear. It seems like there are few companies who make full leathers or just leather jackets. Most seem to be textile. One of my friends has all Revit gear and it fits her really well. Teknic doesn't seem to fi that well from what my female customers tell me.

I would find a shop that has apparel in stock and start trying things on. Good Luck!

Youtube has a LOT of reviews about leather suits.

I think one company / shop that makes a lot is sport bike track gear.com or something.

Just type in let's say "Woman Octane suit review", maybe it can help you decide!

Good shopping

I've been trying to find a suit online that'll fit me so my boyfriend isn't so worried when I go race my mini on the track. Problem is.... I'm a size 3 in pants, but my chest is bigger than average. :dissapointed Therefore, I have problems with the top part of the suit. Any suggestions?
