i would want 6in of extension, how many link chain would i need, and what chain would you reccomend and where to buy it? does the extended brake brace come with it or do i have to buy it separate or make one? how hard is it to change out chains and put these things on? what kind of 60ft times would i possibly see with 6in of extension and strapped in the front?

BTW, this is for a 06 gsxr1000

Spencercycle extensions are very good, I have been using them for 2 seasons now with no problems, just apply blue locktite to threads on bolts ....and stripe ( black/yellow nail polish ) mark them on outside for quick inspect.

It is just a stud on one side and screw on the other. No screw missing. I take them out when I put extensions on.

so does that mean that these kind will break or something or aren't reliable under hard launches?

Think how much force is being exerted on the end of the swingarm (lever) when you launch a bike...and you would trust a couple of bolts to hold up to that?

i am going to try them, but i found a set i liked a lot better this morning and bought them, they are billet and i figured if i get some really stong bolts i should be ok... i am not a hardcore dragracer and don't go all the time, just about once ever 2 months or so, so i just can't justify spending $1000+ on a swingarm just to use it 1 time in 2 months and then take it back off.
