Secondary throttle valve actuator

The position sensor of the STV actuator producess following voltage
(0.1< sensor voltage < 4.9)
Without the above value, c28 is indivated. SVTA motor can not move.

Do I need to fix this right away because the bike seems to be running fine.
Sounds like a lot of work to fix...

Sounds like one of the Two STV cables frayyed and or broke on you. It is very common prob and easy to fix. Also be sure to replace both cables and not just the bad one.

Any info on how to do this? Where are the cables located at?

They are on the right side of the bike sorta hidden behind the right frame spar. If I remember correctly I took the tank off along with the right side faring. You should be able to see the problem, broken or frayed cable end right away. Just be sure to replace both cables other wise you'll be doing it again. Also the cables are different one short one long be sure to replace them accordingly. I'm sure there is a much better write up for this on this board some where I'll look for it and repost it if I find it.
